Medieval lantern made of wood with rawhide

Very beautiful and authentic construction of a middle aged wooden lamp made of rosewood with real raw wood (parchment) made of thin leather.
The luminaire consists of two hexagonal wooden plates that are connected to the middle rods. The candles, better said the drip tray, on which the candles stand, can be pulled to the top and in order to easily light and replace the candle.

A very nice patent, was already in use in the Middle Ages.
This lamp is ideal for re-enactment, but also for the home garden.
The lamp has a steel beam.
